Sound files catalogued by CHARM

In 1902, the Corinthian Theatre Chorus made some of the earliest recordings made in India.

They were recently catalogued by CHARM, the AHRC Centre for the History and Analysis of Recorded Music.
This was a joint project by Royal Holloway, University of London, King’s College London and the University of Sheffield.
